Summer’s end, Fall’s beginning.

As summer has now officially ended, so has my intensive summer writing. Crossroads Fanfare for the UMKC Wind Symphony was finished a few weeks ago and is going to be premiered on October 23 in Kansas City. Lastly, Wanderings on the Divide after two years is finally finished! I’m currently exploring performance opportunities and hope to have it premiered next year. Both pieces will be added to the Works page soon, and recordings will be posted as they come in. Ping was recorded last weekend in Seattle by the Alloy quartet, and I look forward to hearing the edited and mastered version in the coming months.

Over the next few months I’ll be hard at work in Kansas City teaching, studying, and performing; as well as writing my next piece for Cello and recorded car sounds.
